That is a long time in human years.  In dog years, however, I would be absolutely ancient.  Probably be put down a long time ago.

Fifty eight years ago, I made two people very happy just by showing up and crying.

If I did that today, well, if they didn’t put me down they would certainly want to lock me away.

Isn’t age great!

Happy Birthday to me!  OK – to my kids – this is a clue to take me out, buy me a cake, buy me presents.  Do all three.  It is OK by me.

  1. Yes, happy birthday. Hope you have a great day!!!

  2. Happy Birthday Linea. You make me laugh with your post. Honesty always is the best policy even if it isn’t always the most humble approach. I hope your kids and hubby spoil you rotten. You deserve it.

Hey Linea, for an “old dog” you still are learning alot of new tricks. I totally admire all you do but I am glad you have reached 58 a few years ahead of me. I bet you never even cried when Mom and Dad had you… you probably came out smiling and with some good advice for them. Love you always! Joye

Auntie! 58 is the new 35. Trust me, I saw it on Oprah! 🙂 Happy Birthday! I hope you’ve had the very best day…

  9. Many Happy Returns of the Day! (as they say in Pooh Corner) You should have been broadcasting this a few days earlier so people could have been baking you Birthday Cinnamon Buns or something! Hope your day was a most excellent one.

Hey, Sweetie, remember that “slice of Birthday ‘Pi'” I was supposed to save for you….well, there was this feeding frenzy see, and well, the sharks came, thrashed about greatly and the end result was, of course, no pi…or pie for that matter. Anyway, you know I love you and I did give you a hug, not that that goes as far as a slice of home-made pie with ice cream…. but “Happy Birthday…yesterday” friend. You’re da’ best!

  12. A belated but heart felt HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🙂
